Here I am. Standing at the edge of the pier in manhattan beach. Overlooking the water. Staring into the endless black that is the ocean. Trying to deciper where the water ends, from the edge of the earth. I feel finite. The ocean is deafening. I could stay here forever.
Did you ever start to fall asleep, say, on a plane? Or just in general. And you catch yourself making a really awkward noise and there’s nothing you can do to stop it? So you just laugh about it. Now. What you need to understand is that the plane is packed. And I’m sitting next to an adorable boy. Soooo awkward. And hilarious. Oh life.
